Collision Performance Certification

Get Certified once …and recognized by many. One process and one fee is used to allow you to become officially certified and recognized by several OEMs and consumer-facing organizations. This Certification process employs an exclusive online application process followed by an site inspection to ensure proof of compliance. Once you are sure you are able to meet the requirements, you will schedule an appointment with the inspector-auditor in your market area. The inspector auditor will document all of the certification requirements with pictures, electronic images, and other forms of proof as required.

GT-R Certified Collision Repair Network

The new GT-R Certified Repair Network is an elite Certification program that enables GT-R Dealerships and qualifying independent body shops to become officially certified by Collision Performance Network on behalf of Nissan North America.

Certified Collision Repair Network Objectives:

  • Develop an elite national network of collision shops to service GT-R vehicle owner collision repair needs
  • Establish the Retailer as the first point of contact for all GT-R vehicle owner needs as it pertains to collision repairs
  • Provide vehicle owner’s higher quality, warranted, repairs through the use of genuine parts
  • Provide resources and educate consumers of the collision repair process to facilitate informed decisions

GT-R Certification includes enrollment for one student to attend the I-CAR GT-R Class (additional training is available for $850 per student).

While attending the Nissan GT-R training course students will:
  • learn about the design and construction that is unique to the GT-R.
  • take a detailed look at the GT-R body repair manual and procedures.
  • identify the construction materials on the GT-R.
  • understand the repairability of the GT-R structural materials.
  • be measuring to find damage using electronic measuring.
  • develop a repair plan on a damaged GT-R.
  • perform hands-on aluminum panel repair.
  • setup a repair bench to understand anchoring and pulling options.
  • perform hands-on steel joining using (GMA) MIG and spot welding.
  • understand the unique refinish processes for the GT-R.
  • complete a post-test

PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To participate in the Chrysler Recognized Certified Collision Repair Facility program, you must understand and agree to the following terms and conditions.

  1. Officially enroll in the Assured Performance Network Co-Op (APN) and comply with the Co-Op bylaws, and "APN Terms and Conditions".
    1. Enables your business to earn and receive rebates under the Chrysler 100% Write Rebate Rewards Program.
    2. There is no upfront cost for joining the Co-Op, however an administrative fee of up to a maximum of 1.25% of the transactions will be assessed and deducted from any rebate reward earned to cover the cost of administration and processing.
    3. Rebate rewards will be disbursed upon written request after six months maturation and only 2 times each year
    4. Rebates may be earned, but not disbursed, until full certification is achieved except to reimburse for the cost of training as required, and to offset program fees.
  2. Officially enroll and complete the requirements for "Certification" within one year (12 months from enrollment) to receive the program benefits including Chrysler 100% Write Rebate Rewards.
  3. Agree to distribute to repair customers the "Certificate of Authenticity" as provided through the Chrysler 100% Write Rebate Rewards Program.
  4. Use the required electronic parts ordering software or auditing program to submit and process transactions to earn rebates in accordance with the Chrysler 100% Write Rebate Rewards Program.

Any shop found to be in non-compliance will be notified in writing, and given 90-days to become compliant. If still non-compliant at the end of the 90 day period, the business will be de-certified, ineligible for program benefits, will forfeit all rebate revenue, and must return any signage immediately.
