Ford Paint Warranty Repairs to be Performed by Ford Certified Collision Network

Ford Canada announced that all warranty paint repairs are required to be performed at a Ford Certified Collision Network facility if one is located within 80 km of the servicing dealership. This new policy which takes effect on January 1, 2022, supports collision repair facilities that have made the investments in tools, equipment, and training to become Ford Certified by increasing the volume of warranty repairs being directed to their facilities.

Also announced, Ford has enhanced the paint material allowance rate and improved the dealership reimbursement policy for warranty paint repairs that are performed at a collision repair facility that is part of the Ford Certified Collision Network. This change provides financial benefits to Ford Dealers who are referring warranty work to a Ford Certified Collision Network facility.

Ford Dealers will utilize the Certified Collision Care online shop locator at www.autobodylocator.ca to locate the Ford Certified shop within 80km of their location. They can also access the locator from the Ford internal website.

What does this mean to you? If your facility is Ford Certified, we encourage you to reach out to your local Ford dealership to introduce your Ford Certified facility, if you are not already well acquainted. This new policy represents a great opportunity to develop a closer relationship with your local Ford Dealer to complete their paint warranty repairs. It is a win for all involved parties – the consumer, the Ford Certified shop, and the Ford Dealer.

Nissan Canada Consumer Email
Campaign

Nissan Canada contacted over 370,000 Nissan drivers across Canada in October by email to educate them about the Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network. The email contained an entertaining GIF animation, and locator link to let consumers know how to locate a Nissan Certified facility. It also reminded them they have access to Complimentary Collision Towing to the nearest Nissan Certified Collision Centre.

Nissan Canada launched this campaign to support the Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network by raising awareness and directing consumers to the nearest certified facility.

This resulted in a 478 % increase in collision.nissan.ca website traffic, in October, compared to September due to this campaign.

New “Life Happens” Video Released by Nissan North America!

Nissan is committed to developing new, fresh marketing content to help promote the Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network across social and digital platforms. They created the “Life Happens” series, a collection of four videos to increase awareness of the certified network.

In each video, a Nissan vehicle is damaged through various everyday life circumstances—an inadvertent door slam, an ill-timed falling branch, a wayward shopping cart. By visiting a Certified Collision Center, the customer is taken care of, the vehicle is expertly repaired, and the car returns to its central role in the life of its owner.

The, “Life Happens: Shopping Cart Showdown,” video is now live! Watch and share it with your customers and social media followers. Use it to educate them on how you are recognized by their manufacturer and are qualified to repair their vehicle.
